Getting the care you need should feel simple—not overwhelming. At Santa Barbara Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, we believe peace of mind should begin long before you sit in the treatment chair. That’s why we offer personalized support to help you navigate your insurance benefits and payment options.
Payment and Financing Options
Our experienced team is here to walk you through the financial side of care. We’ll help verify your insurance coverage, explain your benefits in simple terms, and work with you to make sure you understand any out-of-pocket costs before treatment begins. If needed, we can also assist with pre-treatment authorizations—so you can focus on healing, not paperwork.
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For patients interested in flexible payment solutions, we’re also a participating provider with CareCredit®, which offers short- and long-term financing options with convenient monthly payments.
Payment is typically due at the time of service, unless prior arrangements have been made. If you’re concerned about the cost of your procedure, just let us know—we’re happy to review your options and help create a plan that works for you.
Our goal is to make quality oral surgery care accessible for you. And that means being transparent, supportive, and always available to answer your questions.
What to Know About Insurance
While we are not in-network with specific plans, our team is well-versed in working with most PPO insurance providers. We’ll help you understand what your policy covers, estimate your benefits, and submit all necessary paperwork on your behalf. Please bring your insurance information with you to your first appointment so we can get everything set up for success.
If you ever receive a statement that doesn’t reflect the expected insurance payment, don’t stress, just give us a call. We’re just a phone call away and can usually clear up any issues quickly.
Keep in mind, any portion not covered by insurance will be your responsibility. If there’s a remaining balance after claims are processed, you’ll receive a statement. We can also explore setting up a payment plan—just let us know in advance so we can help get it in place before your procedure.
Let’s Talk Through It
Investing in your oral health isn’t just about feeling better today—it’s about securing your long-term comfort, confidence, and quality of life. And we want to help make that transition as smooth as possible.
